Bounty Hunter's Guild

After centuries of failed police systems and government based task forces set out to "maintain order" the great Ganymede war occurred and shook the way most people view the government's abilities to keep it's people safe. Jebediah Fronto recognized these issues and looked to his favorite media for the solution; old Earth's spaghetti western media. In this, he found the answer to the systems unchecked power imbalances and set out to create the bounty hunter's guild. Then only present in the wreckage of late 2200s Ganymede, Hunters could apply to join the guild, be given a probation hunt, where a civilian would accompany them and verify that they are safely capable of bringing in targets, then given a hunters license.

These hunter's were expected to give all of their personal information to the local authorities, in case of foul play, and were then seen as the local sheriff's of their area. Hunter's are able to accrue bounties if they are becoming a liability or dangerous, and other hunters are expected to solve the issue. This community lead organization then spread across the system, and bounty hunters have become a respectable civilian led task force that have vastly improved public safety in many ways.

In current times the BHG is maintaining a firm grasp on its hunters and it is near impossible for them to successfully break the hunters code, as most planets they operate on have tight surveillance and BHG Talons on standby to arrest wrong-doers.
