Earth's Moon

Cities are referred to as 'totems' on the moon. The planet is littered with cyborg mummies who spend all of their time building dozens of staircases as high as they can in an attempt to reach the field of reeds. These mummies were awakened by a group of military scientists trying to turn them into weapons of war. With the inability to hear the commands of anything but the voices above.
