Phylactery "container" your soul resides in, the phylactery can be any "container" anything ranging from a vase to a old hat, or a living person, puzzle pieces, crown, Lair, simple book, Ornate Hanging Gallow, or other torture devices [should be protected by or near litch lair, magical properties that can maybe help party] 

lair - technically optional however your phylactery must be protected by it or you risk the death of your soul.
