Moon of Dugan

The farthest moon known to have been colonized has seen better days. After the first Ganymede war, a platoon of Dugan Strass' men escaped here hoping to flee the destruction they left in their wake and the oppression of the people whose lives they had just destroyed. This cell setup a small colony with a self sustaining farm and a small civilization that eventually grew into the hundreds. At the time this moon was a staging ground Dugan used to ready his secretive forces and weapons way out of the jurisdiction of the Io senate. The landscape was quite lively and was a primarily jungle planet with several active volcanoes roughly the size of Earth's mount everest. In 2702 all 7 of the planets volcanoes mysteriously erupted in synchronicity and melted everything on the surface into a charred mass, leaving nothing but igneous mounds and cave systems where the pyroclastic flow spread. Since then, most travellers have no interest in visiting this moon and even the most avant garde explorers find it's dark past to be too damning for their own expeditions, many see it as a personal hell frozen over left by the founding soldiers.
