Vestus Strass

By the age of 22 Vestus had a wife and an infant child. They lived on his wife's farm and maintained the land while her father was sick. One day, draft officers showed up at their door and took Strass, "A rebellion was forming on the other edge of Vesta, and the planets government needed more young able bodied soldiers." 3 years into the service Strass was promoted to Chief Shield of Vesta. He had 70% of the planet's soldiers to his command.

Finally given leave to see his family after so long, the once flourishing farm turned was now an abandoned building next to a crater. He asked around the local village, and was told "2 years ago a strange man used the land as a gateway to something else unknown, and as the gateway opened his family and house went with it." He pleaded with the planets council to go out and search for his family after years of service, and beneficial impact on the planet. They denied him and overruled that The Shield should know his place and stay on the left arm of the government. 3 months later he lead his own rebellion, and crumbled the government in 2 weeks.

After that his mindset changed and his thirst for power increased. Hatred led him to slowly stop thinking about finding his family and instead getting revenge on any who venture into the unknown world of sorcery. On Vesta, he created labs and factories, manufacturing weapons and cyberwear unreleased to the public. Through the years, his firm would become the largest and one of the strongest corporation to exist.
